Research Writer Interview With Sunmade
Economics & Finance Researcher
Hi, Sunmade! Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
I have a Bachelors (Honours) degree in International Economics, which I obtained in November, 1996 from the University of Hertfordshire (UK). I obtained a 2:1 degree classification. I also have a Master's Degree in International Finance, which I obtained in December 2002 from the University of Westminster (UK). I have been working both as a market researcher for an international market research company and a freelance academic research writer for a number of different companies in the past four years. I am also the published author of a science fiction/fantasy novel entitled: Messenger of Fire. I was published by a publishing house based in Baltimore, Maryland in December 2004.
What do you think are the most important qualities of an academic writer?
I feel that the most important quality of a competent academic writer is the ability to write coherent and well-structure academic essays. An academic writer must also be able to write original essays that are expertly tailored to meet the customer's needs. Good research and analytical skills are also essential for an academic writer to carry out their role successfully. An academic writer should also pay great attention to detail and must be ethical in their writing approach and practice, as well as to adhere fully to the standard rules and regulations regarding academic plagiarism. Lastly, an academic writer is only as good as their research skills. Hence, it is very imperative that such writer is able to do skilled research on a number of different topics and subject areas.
What are your favorite types of projects?
I prefer projects that give enough room for a lot of independent analytical and logical thinking as it gives me an opportunity to express myself and provide ideas in an original fashion. I also tend to favor projects that involve a certain level of creative thinking and the discussion of various view points. Furthermore, because I majored in mostly economics and finance, I tend to prefer projects that are geared towards those two subject areas.
What other (besides custom academic research) personal or professional interests do you have?
I am a published author and have been so for the last several years now. I also have a website where I sell e-books of my work. My goal is to become a best-selling author and see that my e-book selling venture is a successful one. I also aspire to become a sort of philanthropist at some point in the future. I am also looking to explore other avenues with my writing, which include film and cinema essays.
Do you think that using an academic writing service truly helps students? Doesn't it just encourage them to cheat or be "lazy"?
I think that at the end of the day, it all comes down to the student. I should like to think that the majority of students would use a customized essay that has been written for them as a research guide or as an aid to their studies. In result, I feel if a student uses an academic writing service in such a way that it helps them have a better understanding of the subject area and provides them help and tips on how to write and structure essays on their own, then it is a service that truly helps the student.
Thank you for your time, Sunmade.
No problem!
