Research Writer Interview With Jacob
A Doctoral Dissertation And Two Books
Hi Jacob, what can you tell me about educational background?
I graduated from high school at age sixteen and then attended a community college for two years, where I majored in pre-med. At that time, my plan was to become a doctor, and I continued to study biology, biochemistry and genetics when I transferred to a four-year university. At that time, though, I found that I was more interested in history, so I changed my major to that subject with a minor in philosophy and political science. I was a Distinguished Graduate in history, and then when on to get my M.A, in modern U.S. history. After that, I received a Ph.D. in modern U.S. history and 20th Century foreign relations history, with minor areas in modern German and Latin American history.
How would you describe your writing background?
I have written a large number of academic papers on a wide variety of subjects, including my eleven years of high education. I have written a doctoral dissertation and two books of my own, and then as a university professor for over twenty years spent a great deal of time grading papers. I think I have a very good knowledge about virtually every type of paper, thesis and dissertation in history, the humanities and social sciences, simply because of long experience.
Why are you working for an Internet writing company?
I have been doing this type of work for about five years now, and I prefer it because I can stay at home and set my own hours. I can even travel abroad and live in other countries whenever I feel like it, since I can easily make a living this way. Over the years, I have lived and worked in many countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America and may do so again, although for the past two years I have been living here in the U.S. again. During my time as an Internet writer, I have written hundreds of essays on various topics.
What type of assignments do you bid on?
Usually I will bid on projects related to history, political science, international relations and philosophy, but I can handle just about any subject in the humanities and social sciences. I have also written papers on business, social work, education, management and leadership, as well as admissions essays and personal statements. I always finish these projects by the deadline.
What else can you tell us about yourself?
As I said, I like to travel and have lived in many countries, such as Turkey, South Korea, Thailand, Poland, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia and Oman. I enjoy visiting any places that have historical and archeological interest, such as the ruins of Knossos in Crete and the Prado Museum in Madrid. I have a pretty good working knowledge of Spanish, German and some other languages.
Thank you very much for your time!
